Starient specializes in providing patent prosecution for law firms.  In the future, Starient may provide services to corporate clients as well. Future services may also include patent process development and patent strategy consultation

Starient is currently a solo practice operated by S. Kevin Pickens.  Kevin is a patent attorney with over 20 years of experience including working for law firms and as in house counsel for large and small companies.

Kevin is a registered patent attorney licensed to practice before the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) and a member of the District of Columbia Bar.
